2010 Toyota Tundra

This big girl is my 2010 Toyota Tundra SR5 4x4. It’s the Double Cab with 6.5 ft bed configuration. It’s a beast! It easily tows our RV, and can do trails that aren’t too tight or technical that would cause a big truck like this to high center. With the upgraded tires and wheels, it has plenty of traction and grip for everything we’ve thrown at it!

We’ve taken it to some of the forest trails here in MD like Green Ridge State Forest, as well as on the sand at Assateague Island OSV, and it’s been a champ!

Add in that it comfortably fits our whole family, including the baby seats in the back, and it’s a great option for family trips! It easily holds all of our gear, and bikes, and bike trailers.

The 5.7 liter V8 has a ton of power and torque, but it definitely drinks gas! With the bigger tires, I probably average around 13 mpg. Part of the pay-to-play I guess!
